We really enjoyed our stay at the camping site in Frejus! Nice pool, nice playgrounds for kids, well located. Walking uphill was no problem for us, besides it was not high season anymore and the temperature was not that high. The swimming pool is located in the highest and the coolest place on the site! Because of the wind it quickly got cold there, even though the temperature stayed around 25 degrees. The internet site said that the water would be heated but it was never heated once during our stay there. So unfortunately our 11-months-old son could not go swimming. The water was really too cold! The lady who provided entertainment did all she could but her activities were not adapted to the right age group (4 year olds). It was the only age group at the site at that time. Apart from that everything was poorly organized. The food in the restaurant by the pool was not particularly tasty. There was a shortage of personnel at the site and they made you wait quite long (even with little children). We had to return our food once because it was poorly prepared. Our caravan was nice and clean! A lot of privacy.

Very good place to relax
As you can see, I gave camping in Frejus an 8, so overall this is a very good place to relax. The only thing I did not like, were the beds. I don’t usually complain, but you could really feel the springs sticking out of the mattress. Lying on it was not pleasant at all… and one more thing you should know. You have to inform 2 days in advance about leaving the camp, and if you clean the house yourself, it needs to be inspected. It’s basically nothing, but there is a special waiting list, so if you miss it, you will have to delay your departure. For example, we already managed to arrange the inspection for 10:30 am.
