Lovely campsite. Nice quiet area

We rented a three bed zen cabin. Plenty space with good air conditioning. Pillows were a bit small but everyone one slept well. We were in the n block which was very quiet area. A little hilly but they have a shuttle the goes around all day. Pool area was stunning.
Staff were friendly every where except the restaurant. They would put you off eating there to be honest. This would be the only downside to our trip.bar staff were lovely. Reception was efficient and very friendly.
Nice little shop on site. Lovely fella working there. Was always very happy.
Prices in this area are expensive for food and drink.
Fréjus beach is only ten min drive away but there is a far nicer beach in st agyluf which is about twenty min away but has parking right on the beach. Would definitely recommend a visit to this area.

5* camping in south france…

We stayed with you from 26th May to 2nd June with eurocamp pitch H21 for 1 week and then moved onto another region for our 2nd week.
What an absolutely amazing time we had there!! The weather was more than perfect and the accomodation was briliant. Apart from out troubles of getting to the site which was 2 days late as our flight was cancelled by our carrier we more than made up for this when we arrived.
The campsite we felt was very clean and comfortable and everyone we saw there greeted us each morning and we loved the welcoming feel this gave us. Reception was great and settled us in and the security guard was kind and helped us to find our accomodation as the reps from eurocamp were understandably on their day off and couldnt be there to take us and see us into our mobile home.
We spent time in the balneo pool which i loved as it was adult only and allowed me to swim lengths freely, i had to pay but was happy too as it meant it was calm and peaceful for a decent swim in the day!! Thanks to the lovely lady I saw there who was so sympatheic when i told her about our cancelled flight and having got there 2 days late. Loved the classes with the aqua bikes which i did 4 times!! and thanks to the same lifeguard who took these classes and saw me each time! We didnt use the restaurants as we wanted to self cater al fresco style!! but we did enjoy a drink there on our last day and they were lovely.
We also visited local beaches and they were nice although it was obvious storms had effected the beach making huge dunes and pools of water.
The main pool below the restaurant was lovely too and enjoyed an aqua class there.
We had an amazing time thanks so much and we are definitely coming back when we can. Weve decided to stay for two weeks next time so we can enjoy paradise for longer.
We also love the mediterranean lifestyle and bought baguettes etc from the local boulangeries in frejus and they were amazing. We love france and wish we were there now!!
Many thanks to everyone, bonne journee x

Excellent site, great eurocamp team and fantastic kids club

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday and we really had a great time. The campsite is lovely, very hilly and big but the onsite bus helps! Jake and Vicky from Eurocamp were so helpful and really lovely to our kids. The animations team lead by Beleer are just fantastic and are so enthusiastic, they really put in 100% and the kids loved their time at the maxi club. The nightly entertainment they put on was always good fun and we really enjoyed it as a family. The only down side was the Panoramic restaurant, it was the only one open onsite and while most of the staff were really nice there was one member of staff that seemed to work all day everyday and he was just downright rude and made dining there an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience on more than one occasion. Given there was nowhere else close by or on the site this was most disappointing!

Excellent Site, Friendly & Attentive Staff – Highly Recommended

My husband & I have just returned from a 10 day break at Colombier. We had pre- booked a 3 bedroom Royal Malibu but were given 2 bed accommodation which although very nicely equipped with a Jacuzzi and all mod-cons, it was not what we had booked. We voiced our concern with the reception staff and they were very attentive and immediately dealt with the problem, they moved us a couple of days later to the accommodation we had booked and compensated us for the time spent in the other accommodation. At all times they were very professional and attentive. Helene (on reception) was very helpful and is an asset to the team there, all of whom were excellent.
The Royal Malibu accommodation we had was fabulous, we had a quiet plot, not overlooked, elevated with a marvelous view and sun all day.
The site is beautifully planted and very well maintained. The spa & main pool areas were clean and nicely situated. There were always plenty of loungers available, the park wasn’t overcrowded or noisy (one of the benefits of going in September). Our morning croissants from the onsite Proxi store were delicious. Most nights we cooked for ourselves, making use of our plancha and Royal Malibu facilities. We ate in the restaurant on one night and the pizza was very good.
Overall all a lovely relaxing holiday at a great campsite…we’ve stayed at many 5 star campsites in France and this is definitely one of the best.
Our thanks again to Helene for sorting out our accommodation…we had a great holiday.
Domaine du Colombier, highly recommended.

A Quality Campsite, Just a Little Hilly

This is one of the best camp sites we have ever stayed at. The pitches are large with good parking; the shop is well stocked and the staff are helpful and it proved easy to find.

There are two pools, the main one (which is basically two kid’s pools and one long lazy river) is free whilst the other is part of the health spa and so attracts a charge. We weren’t bothered enough to pay to use it, but had coffee there and it looked nice. The exercise bikes in the water are a nice touch.

The restaurant and bar are excellent with great views over the countryside, town and pool. The food is good and the service first-class. It’s not the cheapest food we had in Frejus, but it wasn’t over-priced either. There is also a takeaway.

The Eurocamp brochure warns that the site is on a hill. It doesn’t lie. The camp site is built on a series of terraces on a hillside. The camp shop, reception and a kid’s playground is on the flat, but the rest all all either up or downhill. It’s probably why there’s no mini-golf! There are a couple of boule pitches though.

The hilly nature of the site would not stop us going there again, and we probably will, but for those who are hill-adverse, the site might be a challenge.

The camp staff were all very helpful, and congratulations and thanks to the two Eurocamp Reps who were far better than we have come across these last few years.
