Fréjus is an ideal place to practice sports. That is the reason why the European elite of kitesurfing gathers every year in May in Frejus to participate in the European Cup Kitesurf Long Distance, a key event on the Côte d'Azur.
The Cannes film festival was launched on 20th september 1946. Since 1972, films are chosen solely by the organizers. It covers a wide array of films from all over the world: all subjects and film trends are shown. The choice is based on their quality and commercial impact. 10,000 eggs, 30 litres of oil, and kilos of mixed herbs. These are all mixed together in an enormous frying pan measuring 3 metres in diameter, cooked for 3 hours and sampled by several hundred, hungry people!
