Yes! The security bracelet must be worn (secure, hypoallergenic bracelet). It will be given to you upon arrival and must be worn all the time around your wrist or ankle.

How big is Le Colombier? How is it laid out?
It is a park of 22 acres, divided in 407 places delimited, dedicated to traditional campers and in majority to mobile-home tenants (our mobil-homes look like little houses, new fashion)

Is there enough shade?
More or less, this varies per area. Not all the trees have fully grown and we have tried to give you a new exotic impression.

Which kind of people come to Le Colombier?
At Le Colombier we didn't wait till Maastricht to become European and the atmosphere during the holidays is perfect. Most of our clients are couples and families. It is known that language is not a problem for children to make new friends.

What are the opening days?
Opens from Easter to the end of October. Reservations from the 1st of November.

Is there a bus connection to the town?
Yes, the bus stop is almost in front of the entrance of the campsite; to go to the town center, to the railway station or to the beaches it costs 1,10 €.

Are animals allowed at Le Colombier and at the beaches?
Animals are allowed at the campsite but please remember that you have to keep them on a leash and that the vaccination papers have to be in order. Cleaning up after them is your responsibility. A charge of 4 € per animal and per day has to be paid. Concerning their access to the beaches: it is forbidden, except on a leash at a certain part of the beach of Les Esclamandes in Saint-Aygulf, 6 kms from Le Colombier.

Where is the railway station?
The railway station of Fréjus is 1,5 kms from the campsite. The car and sleeper train is at 4,5 kms. The railway station of Saint-Raphaël-Valescure is at 8 kms distance. The bus serving le Domaine du Colombier is: 1.

What are the activities for teenagers?
From opening till closing, 6 days out of 7, the animation team offers activities such as sports tournaments - water games - creative workshops - party-evenings at the discotheque…

What should we know concerning the disco?
The disco accepts anyone over the age of 16. Entrance fee is payable in July and August (3€).

Is there a special club for young children at Domaine du Colombier?
Yes, a young lady is in charge of activities for children (5 years old to 10/12 depending of the games) every day. Starting 10.30 till 12.00 and 16.30 till 18.00 they can freely participate in the workshops for pearls, scoubidous, pompons, make-up, ball tournaments, treasure hunt, painting... without forgetting the children's playgrounds, the sports area and waterslides at the pool.

Are barbecues allowed?
You are in a pinewood of the South which means that charcoal barbecues are strictly forbidden. You can hire an electric barbecue or use the collective barbecue at the pique-nique area, near the playgrounds.

What do we find at the aquatic complex of Le Colombier?
At the bottom of the terrace of the bar/restaurant Panoramique. The joys of crystal-clear waters… slides, long massaging river, paddling pool, pool and whirlpool, this huge "lagoon" of beaches with heated fresh water covering 3800 m² is perfect for families. Submerged beaches, relaxation islands and small bridges over the river. Slides and fun games will please adults and children in magnificent surroundings. At the other side of the site, in a calm area, you can access a Balneotherapy area with 600 m² of heated water at additional cost. Wearing the bracelet is obligatory and swimming shorts are forbidden.

Some information about the balneotherapy of the Colombier?
In a magnificent pool 30x20 with separating lines, we propose you to enjoy the different body workshops, gently in the water. Multiple hydrojets, aquatic anatomical seats, standing spa, aqua bike, aqua jogging, aqua gym area and 3 swimming lanes form our balneotherapy. A large solarium and two heated whirlpools will offer you a magnificent view, overlooking the crystal clear water. The sun beds, heads and adjustable feet await you on the large terraces, planted with palm trees. This private area covers an area of 1600 m². Access only at additional cost. Our balneotherapy is not provided with medical care. Wearing the bracelet is obligatory and swimming shorts are forbidden.

 

Which are the services of the Spa?
A new beautiful spa will welcome those who seek rest and relaxation during the summer. They will enjoy body treatments, facials, hamam and nail-bar. Access is with financial contribution. Our Spa is not provided with medical care. Wearing the bracelet is obligatory and swimming shorts are forbidden.

What are the products used in the packages of the Spa at Domaine du Colombier?
The brands used in our packages are our choices.

Do our Spa and Balneotherapy include medical facilities?
No, the proposed massages in our beauty treatments offer are manual aesthetic techniques and their intention are to relax and non-therapeutic.

Which kind of sports can we practice within a range of 10 kms?
The real fans will have to deal with one problem: make a choice out of the huge offer: fishing, water skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, deep sea diving, karting, horse-riding, tennis, golf, hiking...

Is a doctor present at Domaine du Colombier?
You only have to ask for it and a doctor or a nurse will come to your plot of the campsite. If necessary, the receptionists will arrange an appointment for you with a specialist. At the aquatic complex a first aid service is available.

Is Le Domaine lit up at night?
Yes, the roads are lit up as are the sanitary blocks (like small Provencal houses), both in and outside.

Can you park the vehicle on your pitch?
Yes or close by.

Is there a special beach for nudists available?
Yes, a nude beach is situated at the latest part of the beach of Les Esclamandes in Fréjus- Saint Aygulf, 6 kms from Le Colombier.

Is there easy access into the sea for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, near to the lifeguard station on Capitole beach in Fréjus, there's a ramp with a special seat to take people with reduced mobility safely down to the water's edge.

Is there a car rental service?
Yes, but you have to go into town to pick them up. Prices: for a small car (Renault Twingo) 50€/day, 290€/week.

Is there a bike rental service?
Yes you can rent a bike on site. Average prices: Mountain bike junior 8€/day, 45€/week.

What about the sanitary blocks at Le Colombier?
The sanitary blocks are small houses in Provencal style, equipped with individual cabins with cold (drinkable) and warm water. The sanitary blocks are cleaned every day. There are special places available to empty the chemical toilets of caravans. Both sanitary blocks are heated during the offseason to provide more comfort to the campers. There is a special baby area with baby bath + changing table and free hair dryers at your disposal.

Which activities are interesting for grown-ups?
The Boules tournaments followed by an aperitif for the players are always a big success. The aquagym, volleyball-, basketball- mini foot- or half-court tennis tournaments are also appreciated. An excursion to a neighbouring wine castle with the possibility to taste some wines of French Riviera is a small pleasure you shouldn't miss. For those who would like to explore the surroundings, we propose some bus excursions (Monaco, Vintimiglia, and Gorges du Verdon) or boat excursions (to admire the French Riviera coast and to stop in Saint Tropez is a must). We also created 2 itineraries to visit the country with your own car at your pace (the Olive-oil mill in Callas, the lake of Saint Cassien and Montaroux). Concerning the evenings you will enjoy some lovely dinner shows: cabarets, music performances, karaoke... at the bar-restaurant. And why not end the night at the discotheque?

Is the access at Le Colombier private?
Yes. Le Colombier is guarded day and night and is completely closed. Your children can run and bike without problems. At your arrival a personal access code is given to you. Visitors such as friends and family are allowed. When they are staying longer than 2 hours, they will have to pay a camper's tax because of security reasons and to afford an overpopulation of the facilities. And your neighbors at the campsite, who do not receive visitors, will not admit that people have access to the same facilities than them without paying like those who have paid to use it.

How can we pay at Domaine du Colombier?
Nearly all kind of payments are accepted: credit card (Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard), eurocheques, French cheques and cash.

What are the possibilities to stay at Le Colombier?
We offer you:
- Camping places (including electricity) for tents, camping cars or touring caravans. The size of each plot varies depending on the topography of the terrain, that's why we created 2 different categories: M (Medium 80 m²) and L (Large 100 m²).
- Fully equipped places for mobile-homes which are totally new or recent. These mobil-homes are like small houses and you can choose between several models with an increasing comfort up to air-conditioning, sheets, towels, dishwasher…

Each cottage welcomes one family (ancestors and descendants). For the large families (stepfamily or with the grandparents), we acquired models with 3 rooms or more and with 1 or 2 shower rooms.

Which services are offered?
You will find a general supermarket at the entrance of Le Domaine where you can buy bread, croissants, vegetables etc. and also newspapers. A panoramic bar-restaurant, right in the middle of the site, offers a splendid view over the Esterel-mountains and the sea, traditional meals are served there but you will also find a take-away service for pizza's and French fries... You will also enjoy a games room (with billiard, table-football, video games). The Moorea is really nice and the nightclub, with an entrance fee in July and August, is a great success. Free entrance to the cardio fitness area (for the over 18's) situated at the water complex. The "Lagoon" of 3800 m² with beaches, fresh water, paddling pool, slides and whirlpool will welcome the families. The balneotherapy and the Spa of 1600 m² offer you their services with your financial contribution. Wireless (WIFI) internet connection on all plots (internet cards for sale at the reception). A tourist office with brochures of the region and a Multimedia area with internet facilities fitted with memory card readers for digital cameras, USB key points and Open Office Pack (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at your disposal. Here you will find a ticket and booking service for various activities: bus and boat trips, rafting, jet-skiing… At the reception you can hire: safes, electric barbecues, refrigerators, laundry-kits and baby-kits and bicycles. A postal service is available. Washing and drying machines are available on the campsite. Free access to the sports area, enlightened until 11 p.m. and free use of the equipment. A barbecue area with picnic tables close to the playgrounds are at your disposal.
