Pleasures that can be intermingled with your exploration of the hinterland: local products, lifestyle items, gastronomy. According to inclination you can drive out to visit an oil mill, a winery, the local craftspeople ... On Tuesdays, a bus trip run by the Beltrame bus company to the Vallée du Loup (Valley of the Wolf): €28 per person. Setting off along the Corniche d'Or to Cannes, la Croisette and Vallauris, where you will stop to shop in the capital of ceramic art. A visit to a pottery, including a demonstration, is organised. Then on to Gourdon and Grasse: time allowed for lunch. In the afternoon, return via the Pont du Loup where you will discover how the craftspeople’s skills transform the region’s best flowers and fruits of the region into confectionery. On via Tourettes with a final stop in Vence. Back along the motorway, returning around 7pm.
You might also wish to visit Saint Paul de Vence. Setting off along the Corniche de l'Esterel with its red rocks, then along the motorway to Saint-Paul de Vence. You’ll love walking around the famous city of artists (painters, actors, writers ...) with its sandstone alleys and its fountains. Tour of the Maeght Foundation.

This meeting place of Provence and the Côte d'Azur is full of delights for foodies. The scents of thyme, rosemary and lavender will accompany your walks and excursions, and you can buy excellent olives and olive oils, plus local wines grown on the Var slopes, while a refreshing glass of rosé adds to the pleasure of excursions. While you are in the area, don't forget to visit the perfume factories of Grasse, Vallauris, for its ceramics and confectionery, the Vallée du Loup, St Paul de Vence…
